Over the centuries the Bible has been translated into thousands of languages—captivating the attention of millions across the globe. While language itself is constantly changing, some words have staying power that span both time and cultures. Immanuel is one of them.

The Hebrew word "Immanuel" means God with us. It captures both God’s original design and mankind’s deepest desire. It whispers good news to needy people.

Throughout history, the promise of Immanuel has brought assurance of both presence and rescue to God’s people. Its fulfillment in the coming of Jesus changed everything. God was physically present with us; the Rescuer had come.

Immanuel Fellowship is all about this good news. We believe the presence of Jesus (Immanuel) brings unity across racial, economic, and cultural dividing lines, not by creating monoculture, but by cultivating the “Beloved Community” (Fellowship). Both vertical and horizontal reconciliation are possible through Jesus.
